The 3 day residential course includs many opportunities to take part in a series of practical challenges designed to be both fun and informative - a chance to bring Physics to life for students and teachers alike.

The program includes some lecture demonstrations in low temperature physics and the physics of nuclear warfare!

Team challenges are set, ranging from building a one-minute timer to firing paper rockets from a compressed air launcher (made earlier by the accompanying teachers!) 

In addition, there are individual or paired challenges announced throughout the course.

Throughout the course, students keep detailed journals of the work which will provide a lasting reminder of their experience.
